A Watercolor by Kim G Kloecker This painting was created by God working through my hands. The Erie Philharmonic was searching for an artist to do their program cover. They held a competition entitled, “The Colors of Music” and this painting was chosen. Praise God! As the painting evolved, I knew the Lord was guiding my brush. I have painted many pictures, but there was something different about this one. When the picture was finished, the Lord spoke to me and said… “Reach for Joy…One Note at a Time” God gives the heart a voice to sound His joy…And calls it music! The young boy represents us, as the children of God, climbing Jacob’s Ladder and reaching for the joy of the Lord, through our trials and tribulations one step at a time. Every time we receive a joy, a miracle, or a victory from the Lord, represented by the music notes, it draws us closer to Him. Each one of these moments is then added to our lives in the same way a composer places the notes on the staff. When this happens, we are encircled by God’s love and our lives are strengthened and blessed. An orchestra also finds joy in this way, by sounding one note at a time, captivating the audience with the joy of music, and enhancing our lives. May God Bless you and reveal to you His love.
